FEES

Year One: BTEC fully-funded, £2500 top-up fees*:

Year Two: BTEC fully-funded, £2500 top-up fees*

 Year Three: £3000 top-up fees**

*Top-up fees include intensive professional training and things like tuition for ISTD and RAD Level 3 Intermediate and ISTD and RAD Level 4 Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 Vocational dance qualifications in Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap, tuition for all units of the DDE qualification (additional fees may apply for unit 2), SLQ Level 2 Dance Leadership, plus extras such as access to evening and weekend classes, workshops, show, competition and convention rehearsals for events such as Dance World Cup, CYD? and Move It!

Not included: ISTD and RAD exam entry fees, competition entry fees

**Additional fees may apply for DDE units not already gained in Yr 1 and Yr 2 in accordance with our per unit pricing structure.

 

All course fees are subject to adjustment and will rise annually in line with inflation.

All learners will be entitled to the same privileges as any Further Education learner; for example, student bursaries (if eligible), UCAS guidance, pastoral care, education support, FE enrichment programmes and GCSE re-sit opportunities (if required).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Successful audition and qualifications at or equivalent to Level 2.  GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above is preferred however there is opportunity for these two subjects to be re-studied at the college if not achieved.

Further Information

Learners will also take part in an enhanced industry specific enrichment programme running parallel within their BTEC programme and beyond. Features include regular live performances as well as the opportunity to take part in national and international events such as Dance World Cup, Can You Dance? and Move it! Additional opportunities include access to professional castings, increased access to workshops with industry pro’s, high-level work experience placements, networking, professional corporate performances and gigs.

BTEC Assessment is through practical performances, rehearsals, training sessions, controlled assessments and assignments.  

DDE Assessment is through completion of on-line modules and their assessment and practical examination.

This Access to Professional Employment Course in Dance or Musical Theatre will push each learner to develop technical skills and excel via a thorough programme of practical classes, 1 to 1 tuition and a series of performance opportunities and qualifications to progress directly into the industry or onto further training if desired.
