Unit 1 (Safe Dance Practice): £250
Unit 2 (Teaching Skills): £125 up-front fee, plus tutor’s hourly rate on top
Unit 3 (Intermediate): Individual lesson costs apply
Unit 4 (Dance Teaching Practice): £250 per genre per term
Unit 5 (Social, Emotional and Cognitive Development): £300
Exam and assessment fees – not included
All course fees are subject to adjustment and will rise annually in line with inflation.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Available to all school leavers and up (mature learners are welcome, prior accreditation possible).
It is advisable that learners have good literacy skills as well as strong practical knowledge of at least one of the following genres: Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap Dance. Student teachers will be required as part of the DDE to train, perform and pass Intermediate unit 3.
