We are delighted to announce the launch of ElliTe Studios Pre-Vocational – a dedicated daytime
performing arts training programme for talented flexi-schooled and home-educated children aged 8-16.
The programme offers an alternative to mainstream education, supporting talented young people who excel in the performing arts while providing high-quality training within a structured and nurturing environment.
WHY ELLITE?
ElliTe enjoys a national and international reputation for outstanding training. This venture complements and builds on our existing range of courses and programmes, including ElliTe Studios, ElliTe Studios College, Yorkshire Ballet Theatre Company and Evolve Associates.
We are confident that via this dedicated and select programme we can offer the same exceptional standard of training, access to outstanding opportunities, and level of professional preparation found within some of the country’s leading vocational schools for this age range.
Small class sizes and entry by audition only will ensure a focused, high-quality training environment, allowing for maximum individual attention, appropriate challenge, and the maintenance of the high standards expected of a pre-vocational programme.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
It is intended that this programme is for flexi-schooled and home-schooled children. We welcome applications from all students – applicants do not need to be current members of ElliTe Studios, Evolve, or YBTC to apply. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive environment and have experience in teaching and supporting SEND pupils. If your child has specific requirements, we are happy to discuss how we can best support their training within our studios.
At this stage, we must re-iterate that we are not involved in any way with the provision of or the sourcing of any academic lessons or qualifications and this remains the responsibility of the parents / guardians.
It is the intention that pupils continue at their regular dancing schools and their associated activities as normal (i.e. shows, competitions, associate programmes etc). Our mission is to supplement, not replace, a dancer’s primary training.
TIMETABLE
As a starting point, we will introduce dance-based training on Thursday afternoons, 12.30pm–3.30pm, during term time.
Weekly Timetable:
12.30pm – 1.30pm: Ballet (Fiona Forfar)
1.30pm – 2.30pm: Body Conditioning (Rebecca Armstrong)
2.30pm – 3.30pm: Jazz Technique & Choreography (Natalie Meachin)
As the programme develops, we anticipate expanding and further enhancing this offering.
If your child does not currently have availability on a Thursday afternoon but is interested in the programme please let us know via email and indicate their availability on the application form.

FEES
The weekly fee will be £25, subject to a minimum of four pupils on the programme.
All pupils invited or accepted onto the Pre-Vocational programme must commit to termly invoicing, in line with ElliTe Studios’ existing invoicing structure (typically four-week periods).
This results in a monthly payment commitment.
A four-week notice period applies for withdrawal from the programme. Fees will be payable in lieu if notice is not given.
It is intended that pupils commit to the programme and attend regularly rather than on a drop-in basis. If there are commitment issues on some Thursdays, please do get in touch to discuss if any individual adjustment options exist.
Any extended term-time holidays must be notified as far in advance as possible so that adjustments can be considered.
All pupils are bound by the same ElliTe Studios Terms & Conditions, including our payment policy.
